So there used to be a time when dueling was for the gentlemen. You stole my women..?? Meet me at sunset! Can't decide which ego is bigger? Take 10 steps and draw you gun. That kinda stuff. Dueling was something early modern Europeans created, and really got it's allure by that thing called Chivalry, the medieval institution of knighthood. Now pistol dueling flowed straight out of this tradition, used by the Mid Western American men due to the absence of common law. Maybe not with a charming sword, but still pretty bad ass if you ask me. Oh well..whatever dudes... I just like the clothes!  xx

Shades of blue

We had some amazing weather here in good old Holland, so last weekend I've been outside in boats and pools, enjoying every sunbeam!
I got invited to come chill and swim at this amazing house. Who am I to say no to that?! Hope everyone is enjoying Spring! I sure am.. xx

Henk Schiffmacher is a well known Dutch Tattoo artist with an amazing style and great sense of art. His shops are a cool hangout and I can spend hours, no days (!) just lurking there, checking out all the books and looking over shoulders to see magic happen. Today my little sister got a gorgeous and very personal tattoo on her left wrist (and YES she is in fact playing Wordfeud while getting her ink done..). Stay tuned for my new little addition... ! xx

Had a great afternoon with my girl Gabrielle at Eiland 1 in Vinkeveen, a wonderful and favorite hang-out of my friends and mine. What a perfect day. Spring has arrived and I don't care if it starts pouring tomorrow, I'm putting the heavy knits and knee-high boots away (after saying the appropriate goodbye's.. clearly).
