Happy Macaron Day to all you sweet tooths out there!
Yesterday I got the change to take photos of this gorgeous Macaron shop (the first ever in the Netherlands) before it opened it's doors today for all the Macaron maniacs out there. Poptasi Pastry is a wonderful little piece of Paris in the heart of the popular area 'De Pijp' in Amsterdam. Flavors are never ending and owner and creator Patrick van Drie really makes the best tasting Macarons I've EVER tasted. So good. Check this place out if you get a change! You won't be able to stop eating though.. not kidding.

Couscous & Cupcakes

So yeah, there's a Martha Stewart hidden somewhere inside of me and every now and then I let her come out and do stuff in my kitchen. Today this resulted in delicious couscous and homemade cupcakes for dessert. And don't you just love the Tea-pot for one?!?!! I'm a sucker for clever designs like that. Enjoy yr weekend! xx 

Brix & Nature

Found this cool hot-spot in downtown Amsterdam (9 streets) with international allure and live Jazz music every Sunday: Cafe Brix. The place looks like a cool nyc lower east side hang out, with brick walls and amazing art (that you can buy if interested). Something I particularly appreciate are the free art magazines and other interesting reading material they have lying around. A relaxing place to rest the bones after searching for deer at the Dutch country side! (I found a big herd but was so stunned by their beauty that I totally forgot to take pictures.. epic fail).
